About Me

About Lee Cravens

I was born and raised in a small farming community in central Illinois.  It was there that I realized my love for cars as central Illinois is rich with dirt track stock car racing.  Our neighbor raced stock cars and would take me and my brother to local stock car races to help out in the pits.  After graduating high school I attended an automotive tech school.  After graduating from tech school I worked for an independent garage owner until age 24 when I moved to fulfill a lifelong dream of living in California.

After landing in California in 1981 I was introduced to drag boat racing and subsequently became the owner of a drag boat which we successfully  campaigned in the late 80’s to early 90’s.  I opened my own boat and auto repair shop in the late 80’s  and ran that shop until the early 90’s where I accepted a position with the world famous Coast Corvette and built Corvettes until the early 90’s.

After working with the Coast Corvette group I accepted a position with a professional Trans Am series team as the Crew Chief which took me to the late 90’s.  where a back injury caused me to reevaluate my career path.  I spent a few years writing service for a car dealership.

After buying and selling a few houses I discovered my passion for real estate.

I received my real estate license in 2005 and brought all those small town values to my professional real estate career.  I worked with a large national company my 1st year in real estate then moved to a very successful independent brokerage.  After 4 years with that broker I obtained my own Brokers license and opened Cravens Realty Group in Murrieta and Big Bear Lake, CA.  I still own the Brokerage in California and have recently obtained my brokers license in Arizona where we opened a Brokerage in Bullhead City, Arizona doing business as River Rats Realty.  We look forward to the same success in Bullhead City, Arizona that we have achieved in California.

About Me

About Wendy Gunter

Wendy Gunter received her real estate license in 2018, but due to family obligations, she took a job with the State of Arizona in 2017 and was not able to jump into her Real Estate career. Wendy stayed with the State until her retirement in June of 2023. She kept her real estate license inactive while working at the State because someday, she knew she would pursue her passion for real estate and property development.

In 1998, Wendy had a serendipitous encounter with a property owner while apartment hunting in Scottsdale, AZ. The property owner had built a paradise in the middle of the city equipped with a koi pond, lush plants, and private courtyards for the 8 apartments in the complex.

From the street, the oasis was hidden by a tall fence. In speaking with the property owner, he said he rarely had any rentals available and many of the tenants had been there 5 years and longer. It was obvious to Wendy why those tenants wanted to stay there. They had what all of us want, a safe and peaceful place to come home to. The die was cast. Wendy decided she wanted to help bring that sense of security and serenity to others, and all of her jobs since then were in pursuit of that goal. She has held jobs in multi-family brokerage as a researcher, a contract administrator for two different commercial and multi-family developers, and she worked as an electrical apprentice to get a better understanding of the building process under her father until late 2007, when the housing bubble burst when she had to return to office work to pay the bills. Waylaid but not lost, Wendy is back on track to pursue her dream from 1998 to help bring the feeling of peace and security which comes from home ownership to as many people as possible!
