Homes for Sale in Riviera, Bullhead City Area, AZ

Riviera is a community within the edges of Bullhead City, Arizona. The community sits on a U-shaped peninsula along a big bend of the Colorado River, directly across the many big casino buildings on the other side of the river. The neighborhood is one of three founding communities in the city planned and developed in 1984. Today, Riviera is one of the primarily residential areas of the region, housing a significant portion of the city’s population. As such, the community has been properly developed to help support the many families living in the area. Schools, public parks, shopping centers, commercial areas, and so much more are readily available to residents in the suburb. If you’re looking for a family-friendly community where you can move into and stay for the long term, you’ll love what Riviera offers.

Real Estate in Riviera is a combination of high-end and affordable real estate options spread throughout the peninsula. Home types are mostly single-family homes built in the 1980s and 1990s, but there are some custom builds recently constructed, including a few low-density apartment type buildings. The majority of home builds in the area are the home built in the 1980s during Riviera’s initial housing boom. These homes are priced between $70,000 to $250,000 and have two or three-bedroom floor layouts with 700 sqft to 2,500 sqft of living space. These home builds have classic ranch-style designs with a lengthwise build extending from the front to the rear of the home lot. Both sides are left relatively open, with a roofed patio on one side and a spacious carport on the other. Riverfront homes are the most expensive property options in the region, offering direct access to the river via small docks in their backyard. These home types typically have similar builds to other houses in the community but feature a small dock you can use for your boat or jetski.

Residents also have easy access to the Mohave Valley Highway, connecting the towns of Fort Mohave to the south and Laughlin to the north.

As a founding community in Bullhead City, most of the land area has already been developed. There is a limited supply of new construction in the area. Most homes are still the older residences built at the end of the 20th century.

Who is this neighborhood for

Riviera is a vast residential district providing many home options for buyers considering a purchase in the region. Riverfront properties are great for those who have boats who prefer direct access to the river. However, most homes have spacious carports with ample space for your boats and multiple boat launches. You can opt for the more affordable interior residences. The community’s highlight, though, is the affordable single-family homes perfect for those working at the nearby casinos in Las Vegas.
